Policies

1. All orders will be confirmed in writing via email. Order confirmation will include at minimum: item(s) requested, flavor(s), design details, quantity, event date, date of pick-up or delivery, and packaging.

2. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable if canceled within 14 days of your event. If your order has been paid in full, a partial refund may be given and will be dependent on the amount of work already completed on your order.

 

3. Orders $100 and under are to be paid in full at time of order confirmation. Orders over $100 require a 50% deposit at time of order confirmation with the remaining balance due at pick-up/delivery. If balance is not received at pick-up/delivery, the ordered items will not be transferred to you, our agreement is voided, and your deposit will not be refunded.

 

4. Any changes to your order including, but not limited to, size, quantity, details, flavors, packaging must be finalized seven (7) days before your pick-up/delivery date. Any changes requested after this cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

 

5. For order pick-ups you will be given a one (1) hour time slot to pick-up your order. This time slot will be relayed to you within 3 days of pick-up. Please be prompt as my time is valuable, just as yours is. Any delays in pick-up must be communicated to me in a timely manner. I will make every effort to accommodate a delay, however my schedule is tightly packed, and I cannot guarantee extended delays. If items cannot be picked up at the agreed upon time, orders may be discarded, and no refund will be given.

 

6. Orders can be delivered and set-up depending on location and my availability, if requested. Delivery and set-up will incur an additional charge. Delivery location, set-up details, and fees will be included in order confirmation.

 

7. I am not responsible for any damage to products once they have been picked up or delivered. All baked goods should be considered fragile, and care should be taken when handling.

 

8. All items included on my website are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration. However, high temperatures and direct sunlight never make baked goods better. Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.

 

9. I photograph most of my products and set-ups and reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion on my website or social media pages without compensation to you. I generally will wait until after your event date to display photos.

 

10. All products are made in my home kitchen which contains milk, eggs, wheat, soy, nuts, and other allergens. You must notify me of any allergen concerns. I will do my best to avoid cross contamination, but my kitchen still contains these items. You are hereby made aware of this risk, and it is your responsibility to notify your guests of this risk. By placing and confirming an order with me, you agree to not hold myself, Brandy Mora-Nolan, or Baked by BAM, accountable for allergic reactions.
